The People’s Government of Longhua District of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Measures on Promoting the High-quality Development of the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre at Shenzhen North Station” (“the Notice”) on 29 August 2024. The authorities proposed that for Hong Kong and Macao youth enterprises that settle the innovation and entrepreneurship centre, the rent, property management fees, and utilities for the first two years will be exempted from the date of establishment, followed by a 50% reduction in rent, property management fees, and utilities in the third year. The Notice is effective from 10 September 2024 and will be valid for 3 years.
