The People’s Government of Longhua District of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Administrative Measures for the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre at Shenzhen North Station” (“the Notice”) on 29 August 2024. The authorities proposed that Hong Kong and Macao enterprises settling in the innovation and entrepreneurship centre can apply for a maximum of 10 workstations and no more than one office. The average number of employees covered by social insurance shall not be less than 50% of the number of workstations applied for. The Notice is effective from 10 September 2024 and will be valid for 3 years.
