On 29 August 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the “Key Initiatives of Market Regulators to Optimise the Business Environment (2024 Edition)” (“the Initiatives”). The Initiatives optimise the registration management of foreign-invested enterprises (“FIEs”), continuously promote the improvement of the registration management system of FIEs, support localities in exploring the electronic registration of FIEs, and optimise the registration process of FIEs. The Initiatives shall be effective from 29 August 2024.
