On 9 September 2024, the Dongguan Industrial and Information Technology Bureau issued the “Various Measures in relation to Accelerating the Cultivation of Domestic Basic Software Ecosystem in Dongguan Municipality” (“the Measures”). For products that have passed domestic operating system compatibility certification for the first time and are used in research and development, manufacturing, and supply chain processes (such as production equipment, testing equipment, data collection devices, and operating terminals), the Measures provide a one-time incentive of up to RMB100,000. Each enterprise is eligible to claim the incentive for up to two products. The Measures shall be effective from 9 September 2024 and valid until 31 December 2026.
