The Authority of Qianhai of Shenzhen Municipality and the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the “Regulations for the Record Filing of Hong Kong and Macao Tour Guides and Tour Leaders in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone” (“the Notice”) on 20 September 2024. The authorities proposed that the practice registration record filing procedures for Hong Kong and Macao practitioners in tourism industry in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone include registration, pre-job training, and record filing. The pre-job training must consist of at least 24 hours, with a minimum of 16 hours dedicated to theoretical training and at least 8 hours for specialized training related to the Qianhai Cooperation Zone. The Notice is effective from 20 September 2024.
