The Justice Bureau of Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the 2024 Application Work of the “Eight Measures on Supporting the Development of Foreign-related Legal Services in the Guangzhou Nansha New District (Free Trade Zone)” (“the Notice”) on 24 September 2024. The authorities proposed that lawyers from Hong Kong and Macao who have worked continuously for 12 months at legal service institutions established in Nansha are eligible to apply for a subsidy of RMB60,000. The application period for the subsidy is from 25 September 2024 to 12 October 2024.
