On 25 September 2024, the Zhongshan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau issued the “Notice in relation to Launching the 2024 Identification Work for Engineering and Technology Research Centers in Zhongshan Municipality” (“the Notice”). The Notice announced the launching of the identification work for engineering and technology research centers, which includes enterprise-based engineering center which is mainly established through the support of enterprises. To be eligible, applicants must be registered in Zhongshan Municipality with independent legal person status, a minimum sales revenue of at least RMB 20 million in previous year and equipped with no less than 10 full-time research and development personnel. Eligible applicants shall log on to the “Zhongshan Science and Technology Bureau Science and Technology Innovation Management Integration System” to fill out the recognition materials for the Zhongshan Engineering and Technology Research Centers. The application deadline for online submission is 5pm on 25 October 2024.
