The Management Committee of the Guangzhou Development Zone (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Revising the Implementation Measures on Further Supporting the Hong Kong and Macao Youth on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Guangzhou Development Zone (Huangpu District)” (“the Notice”) on 27 September 2024. The authorities proposed to select up to 5 outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship projects initiated by Hong Kong and Macao youth each year and provide a one-off support of RMB30,000 to each project. The Notice is effective from 27 September 2024 and will be valid until 21 August 2025.
