On 20 October 2024, the Office of the Guangzhou Nansha District Administrative Committee, the Office of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Nansha District (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Various Measures for Promoting the Implementation of Technological Transformation of Industrial Enterprises under the New Situation in Guangzhou Municipal Nansha New Area (Free Trade Zone)” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and to guide and encourage industrial enterprises to carry out high-end, intelligent, green and integrated transformations. The authorities also indicted to support industrial enterprises in the introduction and purchase of advanced production equipment, with a reward up to RMB 10 million for each project. These Measures shall be valid until 31 December 2027.
