On 25 October 2024, the Office of the People’s Government of Huizhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing the “Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of Productive Service Industry in Huizhou Municipality (2024-2027)”” (“the Plan”). The Plan announced to accelerate the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Huizhou Municipal) Data Industry Park and the Provincial Data Elements Cluster Development Zone, and to initiate the construction of innovative platforms such as the data elements innovation center, the enterprise data innovative application research center, and the industry data space.
