On 4 November 2024, the Office of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipal Nansha District (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing the Development Plan for Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Industry in Guangzhou Municipal Nanshan District (2024-2028)” (“the Plan”). The Plan announced to accelerate the implementation of finance and taxation, investment and financing, research and development, talents, and other industry related support policies for eligible enterprises relating to semiconductor and integrated circuit manufacturing, design and material.
