The Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Application Guideline for Supporting the High-end Legal Services Cluster in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Legal Affairs Area” (“the Notice”) on 16 November 2024. The authorities proposed to provide a one-off settlement support of RMB2 million to joint law firms established by overseas renowned law firms and outstanding domestic law firms in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone and a one-off support of RMB1.5 million to representative offices set up by overseas renowned law firms. The application period for the Notice is from 18 November 2024 to 6 January 2025.
