The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Talent Work Bureau of Jiangmen Municipality and Jiangmen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to “Implementation Rules for Supporting Innovation and Industrial Talent Development” (“the Notice”) on 27 November 2024. The authorities proposed that undergraduates who have been employed or started their own businesses in Jiangmen Municipality within two years of graduation and meet the criteria for urgent shortage talent in key industries are eligible to apply for a subsidy of RMB24,000. The Notice will be effective from 27 December 2024 and remain valid until 17 February 2029.
