On 29 November 2024, the Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing the Application Guidelines for the Second Batch of Special Fund Projects for Strategic Emerging Industries in 2024” (“the Guidelines”). The Guidelines indicate supporting primarily in areas such as semiconductors and integrated circuits, biopharmaceuticals, and high-end medical devices. The online application period is from 9 am on 29 November 2024 to 6 pm on 29 December 2024.
