Notice in relation to Administrative Provisions on the Move-in Registration of Household Residence in Zhongshan Municipality

The General Office of People's Government of Zhongshan Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Administrative Provisions on the Move-in Registration of Household Residence in Zhongshan Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 3 December 2024. The authorities proposed that individuals who have residential property in Zhongshan Municipality, or have no residential property, engaged in social security insurance, and lived in Zhongshan Municipality for more than half a year at the time of application are eligible to apply for settling in Zhongshan Municipality. The Notice will be effective on 1 January 2025 and will be valid for 5 years.
