Notice of Issuing Several Measures in relation to Accelerating the Development of the Exhibition Industry in Guangzhou Municipality (Sui Shang Wu Gui Zi [2024] No. 3)

On 18 December 2024, the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing Several Measures in relation to Accelerating the Development of the Exhibition Industry in Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures announced that annual subsidy shall be provided for exhibitions held at the exhibition venues in Guangzhou Municipality for the first time during the first 3 years, with an annual subsidy up to RMB 3 million for exhibition area over 150,000 square meters. These Measures shall be effective until 31 December 2027.
