Notice of Issuing the Implementation Measures for Strengthening Joint Hong Kong-Macao Science and Technological Innovation in Guangzhou Municipal Nansha District (Sui Nan Fu Ban Gui [2025] No. 6)

On 13 January 2025, the Office of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Nansha District (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing the Implementation Measures for Strengthening Joint Hong Kong-Macao Science and Technological Innovation in Guangzhou Municipal Nansha District” (“the Measures”). The Measures support the establishment of joint laboratories by various entities with universities, research institutions and enterprises in Hong Kong and Macao, and provide a one-off reward of RMB 3 million for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao joint laboratories recognized by the provincial science and technological administrative departments. These Measures shall be valid for 3 years.
