Notice in relation to “Application Guidelines for One-off Employment Subsidies for Newly Hired Employees during the 2025 Spring Festival”

The Dongguan Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to “Application Guidelines for One-off Employment Subsidies for Newly Hired Employees during the 2025 Spring Festival” (“the Notice”) on 17 January 2025. The authorities proposed that enterprises in Dongguan Municipality that hire non-Dongguan residents for their first job in the city during the period from 29 January to 27 February 2025, sign labour contracts with them, and continuously pay for employee pension, unemployment, and work injury insurance for at least three months are eligible to apply for a one-off employment subsidy. The subsidy amount is RMB1,000 per person, with a maximum of RMB300,000 per enterprise.
