Notice in relation to Adjusting the Minimum Wage Standard in the Municipality

The Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Adjusting the Minimum Wage Standard in the Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 24 February 2025. The authorities proposed that effective from 1 March 2025, the minimum wage for full-time employees in Shenzhen Municipality shall be adjusted to RMB2,520 per month, while the minimum wage for part-time employees will be adjusted to RMB23.7 per hour. For employers who pay less than the minimum wage to employees, penalty ranging from RMB30,000 to RMB50,000 will be imposed according to the severity of the violation.
