Notice in relation to the Application for Entrepreneurship Subsidy for Overseas Students in 2024

The Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Application for Entrepreneurship Subsidy for Overseas Students in 2024” (“the Notice”) on 19 March 2025. The authorities proposed that individuals who have studied or worked abroad for over 3 years, registered a technology innovation enterprise in Shenzhen Municipality during the period from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2024 and held enterprise shares valued at not less than RMB300,000, are eligible to apply for the entrepreneurship subsidy. The maximum amount of entrepreneurship subsidy is RMB1 million.
