Celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the Founding of the “Passing on the Torch” National Education Activity Series Platform: “Dreams to GBA Come True” Itinerary Design Competition under Mainland Exchange Programmes for Students (“Competition”)

Objectives

• The Competition aims at encouraging students to design an itinerary of a Mainland Exchange Programme for students, with the cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay Area) as destinations.
• It is expected that through conducting research, students could learn more about the inter-connectivity, history and culture, innovation and technology, development opportunities, etc. of the Greater Bay Area cities, thereby broadening their horizons and cultivating an affection for the country.

Target Participants

• Secondary school students (including students of public sector schools and Schools under Direct Subsidy Scheme)

Itinerary Plans

• Destinations should be the cities of the Greater Bay Area (including at least one Mainland city of the Greater Bay Area). The tour can be one to three days in duration.
  
  • There are 11 cities in the Greater Bay Area, i.e. two special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and the nine municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province.
