Co-hosting of the 15th National Games by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao
With the trust and support of the Central Government, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao will jointly host the 15th National Games in 2025. Hosting the National Games jointly by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao is very meaningful. It is in line with the objectives of building a bay area for leisure and shaping a healthy bay area. Hong Kong will, by working closely with Guangdong and Macao, spare no effort to organise an edition of the National Games that is “simple, safe and wonderful”, thereby demonstrating Hong Kong’s strengths in hosting major sports events.
