Arbitration Services - Wholly Owned Hong Kong Enterprises to Adopt Hong Kong Law
“Regulations of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone” allow Hong Kong-, Macao-, Taiwan- and foreign-invested enterprises registered in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone to agree on the choice of applicable law, including Hong Kong law, in their civil and commercial contracts. The relevant provisions would not be considered invalid due to the absence of any “foreign-related elements”.
