Cross-boundary Use of Electronic Health Records
In response to the launch of the “Special Support Scheme for Hospital Authority Chronic Disease Patients Living in the Guangdong Province to Sustain Their Medical Consultation under Coronavirus Disease-2019”, to enable the patients concerned to receive continuity of care, they can consent and authorise the transfer of their medical records in the eHealth to the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital for use in follow-up consultations. The arrangement will continue to be implemented under the “Pilot Scheme for Supporting Patients of Hospital Authority in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”.
