Medical Insurance

The Mainland social insurance scheme covers (i) Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents who have employment in the Mainland, (ii) non-employed Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, and (iii) university students living in the Mainland. Hong Kong residents can participate in various types of basic social insurances (including medical insurance) in accordance with the relevant regulations of various Mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area.
