Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) Agreement on Trade in Services
The Agreement Concerning Amendment to the CEPA Agreement on Trade in Services has been implemented since June 2020. It introduces new liberalisation measures in many professional service sectors and industries in which Hong Kong has a competitive edge. The HKSAR Government will continue to strive for more preferential treatments through CEPA to facilitate the entry of Hong Kong enterprises and professionals into the Mainland (especially the nine Mainland municipalities of the Greater Bay Area) for business development.
