Scheme for Admission of Hong Kong Students to Mainland Higher Education Institutions
Hong Kong young people interested in pursuing university studies in the Mainland can apply for the “Scheme for Admission of Hong Kong Students to Mainland Higher Education Institutions” implemented by the Ministry of Education. Under the Scheme, participating mainland higher education institutions would consider the admission applications of Hong Kong students on the basis of their Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination results, hence exempting students from the need of taking the Joint Entrance Examination for Universities in the Mainland.
