The Airport Authority Hong Kong is expediting the development of “sea-air” intermodal cargo transshipment mode between Hong Kong and other cities of the Greater Bay Area, such that export cargo from the Mainland can go through upstream aviation security screening and cargo acceptance before being seamlessly transported to Hong Kong International Airport for direct transshipment overseas, thereby enhancing the efficiency of cargo shipment.
