Exchange and Collaboration between Medical Institutions
The Health Commission of Guangdong Province and the Hospital Authority signed a memorandum of understanding in 2007 to establish friendly co-operation relationship. Both parties are making preparations for the Greater Bay Area Healthcare Talent Exchange Programme to deepen exchanges, mutual visits and training, and to promote the development of public healthcare services in the Mainland and Hong Kong. Besides, the development of Hong Kong’s private healthcare facilities in the Mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area can enhance the overall standard of healthcare services through professional exchanges and meet the medical needs of residents in the region.
