Huizhou, located in the southeastern part of Guangdong Province, is an area on the northeastern side of the Pearl River Delta and along the middle and lower courses of Dongjiang. With numerous scenic spots and monuments, Huizhou is famous for its Lingnan culture and known as one of the National Famous Historical and Cultural Cities. In addition to ample tourism resources and a beautiful natural environment, Huizhou also has good transport infrastructure. Not only do the Xiamen-Shenzhen railway, Guangzhou-Shanwei high-speed railway and Ganzhou-Shenzhen high-speed railway pass through Huizhou, the city also boasts a highway network of over 700 kilometres.
