Macao

Macao is a special administrative region of the country, located on the western side of the Pearl River estuary and adjoining Zhuhai. Macao strives to develop itself into a world-class tourism and leisure centre and a commerce and trade co-operation service platform between China and Lusophone countries for promoting the development of a moderately diversified economy. Macao also strives to develop into a base for exchange and co-operation where Chinese culture is the mainstream while diverse cultures coexist.
